The Chronicle History of King Henry the Fifth with his Battell at Agincourt in France - UK (1944), written by, directed by, and starring Laurence Olivier, from the play by William Shakespeare. Shakespeare's historical play is seen in performance at the Globe Theatre in 1603. It is about the English king Henry V and his military campaign in France in 1415. Commissioned by the Government as part of a relentless propaganda effort to buoy the national spirit during the second world war.
