Little Match Girl, The

The Little Match Girl - UK (1987) directed by Michael Custance from the story by Hans Christian Andersen. This is the story of a little matchgirl (Natalie Morse) who lives with her alcoholic dad (veteran rock singer Roger Daltry), and his girlfiend (Twiggy). One night she lights one of the matches to find it takes her into a different world... Twiggy plays a vaudeville music hall performer singing and dancing several numbers throughout the film.
