Harry Chapin was a singer/songwriter best known for his story songs. He started producing albums in 1977 "Dance Band on the Titanic" and his final album was "Sequel" produced in 1980. He was killed in a car accident on 16th July 1981. The car he was driving was hit by another vehicle and burst into flames. The coroner reported that he had suffered a massive heart attack which may have occurred while driving or after the accident.
