Buck, Ole

Twentieth century Danish composer Ole Buck (1945-) preserved his independence by not associating with any school nor registering with the music education system. His works are of a type he called the "new simplicity." One of his most noted works is for large ensembles, a set of four pieces called Landskeber (Landscapes).
