Stamitz, Anton Thadäus Johann Nepomuk

German Classical period composer Johann Anton Stamitz (1750-?) is the least well-known of his family of composers. Like brother Carl, he first learned music from his father Johann. The last time he was heard of was in the service of the French king at Versailles in 1789.
