The actress, Katherine "Katie" Holmes, was born on 18 December 1978 in Toledo, Ohio. She is known for her television role of Joey Potter on The WB teen drama, "Dawson's Creek," and several feature films, such as "Go!," "Disturbing Behavior," and "Batman Begins."

Katie is currently engaged to the actor, Tom Cruise. She and Tom are the parents of a daughter, Suri, born 18 April 2006.
