Howard McGillin, a strong tenor, has worked extensively in theatre, film and television. An accomplished professional, he has been nominated for Tony Awards for his appearances in "Anything Goes" and "The Mystery of Edwin Drood". McGillin, who is currently playing the role of the Phantom on Broadway, made history on January 9, 2006 as "The Phantom of the Opera" became the longest-running production in Broadway history. On that date, Phantom played performance number 7,486 breaking the previous record of 7,485 set by "Cats". A divorced Father of two sons, Howard McGillin holds the distinction of portraying the Phantom more than any other actor on Broadway with over 1,200 performances.
