Strong, Rider

Rider Strong is without a question one of today's most talented young actors. Rider stars as Shawn Hunter on the TV show "Boy Meets World". A native Californian, Rider Strong's first professional acting job was the role of Gavroche in the San Francisco production of "Les Miserables" when he was only nine years old. He has had numerous television guest-star credits on such shows as "Evening Shade," "Empty Nest," "Nurses," "Time Trax," and the ABC series, "Maybe This Time" and "Home Improvement." Rider currently enjoys a sustained level of popularity among young and mainstream audiences alike. He was recently recognized by professionals in the industry when casting directors, producers and directors nominated him for his work on "Boy Meets World" for the Hollywood Reporter YoungStar Awards. A true lover of the outdoors, he enjoys backpacking, swimming, white-water rafting, playing soccer, rollerblading, listening to his eclectic music collection, writing, and reading poetry from Keats to Kerouac.
