Carlyle, Robert

This category houses both professional and fan pages devoted to the Scottish actor Robert Carlyle. His first major role was that of Hamish Macbeth, in the eponymous BBC drama series. He has since appeared in several films, including "Trainspotting" (1996), "The Full Monty" (1997), and "Angela's Ashes" (1999), and in 1991 he founded the Raindog theatre company together with four other actors. He was born in Glasgow, in Scotland in the United Kingdom, in April 1961.
