Michael Elphick - one of Britain's most popular actors, born 19 September 1946, Chichester, Sussex, England, died (from a heart attack) 7 September 2002, Willesden, London. Movie roles include small but memorable parts in several films including 'The Elephant Man', 'Quadrophenia' and 'Withnail And I', but it's for TV work that he'll best be remembered - including 'Boon', 'Auf Weidersehn Pet' and most recently the BBC TV soap 'EastEnders', as Uncle Harry.
