Emily Mortimer - British actress, born December 1971. Emily studied English and Russian at Lincoln College, Oxford, before entering an acting career in which she plays roles from historical dramas to modern day thrillers and comedies. Emily's father is 'Rumpole of the Bailey' author John Mortimer.
