RotogravureWeb Directory

Rotogravure is the modern adaptation of the gravure process, and uses a rotary press with a copper cylinder. On the cylinder, the image to be printed is cut or etched below the surface of the non-image area in the form of thousands of tiny cells that hold the ink. This process is frequently used to print publications, catalogs, newspaper supplements, labels, cartons, wall and floor coverings, packaging, and gift-wrap.

Sites placed in this category should deal primarily with this printing process. This includes sites of trade associations, companies selling equipment and supplies, and any site providing resources about the process. In contrast, the sites of printing companies that use this process are not listed here; instead, each printing company is listed in a category based on the type of product it produces.
