Different fantasy characters, such as the elf, wizard, and fighter, go through a maze shooting and hacking monsters, and gathering power enhancing treasures. The original coin-op arcade games (Gauntlet and Gauntlet II) have been succeeded by the Nintendo 64 Gauntlet Legends and the Playstation 2 Gauntlet: Dark Legacy.
