Guyon's Canal Syndrome is a Cumulative Trauma Disorder, also known as a Repetitive Strain Injury. It affects the ulnar nerve where it passes through the wrist in the tunnel of Guyon, right next to the carpal tunnel. It impacts the nerves of the little finger, half the ring finger and the small muscles in the palm of the hand. It is closely related to Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, which involves the ulnar nerve passage through the elbow.
