Heart Disease

Heart disease is used to describe problems with the heart, the arteries that supply blood, or the valves that keep the blood flowing in the right direction.

There are many types of heart problems. Some are caused by unhealthy habits, like smoking. Some viruses can cause damage and sometimes babies are born with a defect in a heart valve.
