This category is exclusively for the Carnivals of south west England, which have developed around the memory of Guy Fawkes and Bonfire Night. The largest and oldest appears to be Bridgwater Carnival.
Many towns and communities have Carnival Clubs, who prepare very elaborate floats ("carts") with which they "tour" and compete on well-established carnival circuits; websites for such clubs may be considered for listing in an appropriate locality.
