Gerry Anderson - British puppeteer, born 14 April 1929 West Hampstead, London, England. Made several animated TV series, including Fireball XL5, Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, and Thunderbirds. He was awarded the M.B.E. (Member of the British Empire) in 2001.
