The County of Cambridgeshire is one of the six counties of the East Anglian region of England, with the eastern part of the county being part of the Fens. It has a population of 709,000, spread across 1307 square miles (or 338,535 hectares). The main centres of population are concentrated in the cities of Cambridge and Peterborough together with the cathedral city of Ely and the large towns of Huntingdon, St Ives, St Neots and Wisbech.
