Washfield is a village 3km north west of Tiverton, in the parish of Washfield with its east boundary
along the River Exe, and its southern boundary approximately along the A361 main road from Tiverton to North Devon.
The north boundary is with the Stoodleigh, the parish separated from Exmoor by Oakford.
