Sandown is a seaside resort town on the south-east coast of the Isle of Wight. To the south and separated from it by Los Altos Park, is the village of Lake which has grown to join Sandown with Shanklin as a single built up area. Sandown occupies the southern coast of Sandown Bay and to the north along the bay is the village of Yalverland
