Maudling, ReginaldWeb Directory

Reginald Maudling (7 March 1917-14 February 1979) was a British politician. Member of Parliament for Barnet (1950–February 1974) and Member of Parliament for Chipping Barnet (February 1974–1979). He was Edward Heath's main rival in 1965. He was Home Secretary during Bloody Sunday in 1972. He held many directorships in the financial world and ultimately fell from power because of scandals in companies he was involved with.
