Infantry units of the Canadian Forces Land Force (Army) are called Battalions. Such units in Canada are generally either Reserve (part-time), or Regular (full-time). Most reserve Infantry units are also Regiments although some reserve and all regular Infantry Regiments have more than one unit (Battalion).
