CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) is a digital transmission technique whereby multiple users use the same transmission medium but are separated using orthogonal signature sequences. Wideband CDMA is the primary transmission technique proposed for Third Generation (3G) Mobile Communication systems. CDMA is also used in the second generation IS-95 systems.
