The Holy Grail was said to be a mystical and supernatural vessel, usually a cup or bowl, said to have miraculous powers, usually those of healing. In some legends, it was the cup from which Jesus Christ drank during the Last Supper; in others, it was the cup that caught his blood during the Crucificxion.
