Female Genital Mutilation

The cutting and the excision of external genitalia and stitching of vaginal opening in females is considered to be not only medically unnecessary but genital mutilation. Female genital mutilation (FGM) is comdemned by most religious groups and banned in most countries. Procedure is sometimes called female circumcision.
