The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League is a Junior A hockey league based in Saskatchewan, Canada. Open to all North American-born players 20 years of age or younger, the SJHL's primary role is to help athletes bridge the gap between playing hockey and preparing for the future. As of the 2000-2001 season, the league consisted of 13 teams. The regular season consists of 62 games played from mid-September through to early March, followed by playoff action as teams compete for the League Championship and the coveted MemberCare Cup.
