International Hockey League

This category contains sites pertaining to the now-defunct International Hockey League (IHL). It includes official team and league websites, links to media covering the IHL (e.g., ESPN, CNN/SI), the local newspaper teams of the IHL teams, IHL webrings, IHL mailing lists, and a variety of team, player, and league fan sites. On June 5, 2001, the International Hockey League announced that it would will be ceasing operations effective immediately. Six of its former teams immediately joined the AHL. One team eventually joined the ECHL, but the remaining teams have folded.
