American economist and trader Nassim Taleb wrote that bitcoin is a good idea, but most users of the cryptocurrency do not understand the nuances of its work.
Nassim Taleb participated in a Twitter discussion with “bitcoin maximalist” Giacomo Zucco. Zucco questioned Taleb’s views on the imposition of Central planning by bureaucrats and politicians, as they have no “personal interest in the success” of this strategy.
In response to this, Nassim Taleb wrote in his Twitter this past weekend:
“I will explain the changes in the scale of self-interest: bitcoin is a good idea, but almost all bitcoiners are complete idiots who are not able to understand the nuances beyond prediction cookies.”
Well-known American economist and trader Nassim Taleb is generally optimistic about cryptocurrencies and previously stated that bitcoin wins in comparison with state currencies. In addition, he recently advised
Lebanese citizens can use cryptocurrencies due to the depreciation of the Lebanese pound.
Despite his loyalty to crypto assets, Taleb said at the beginning of the month that he would no longer use the services of the Coinbase exchange, as the platform’s technical support is slow to answer questions.
