The Block: traffic on cryptocurrency exchanges decreased by 14 in June%

June was not the most successful month for the cryptocurrency industry – the volume of cryptocurrency trading decreased, and the web traffic of trading platforms decreased by 14%.

A joint study by the Block and the analytical firm SimilarWeb shows that the number of visitors to cryptocurrency exchange sites fell to a five-month low in June. A total of 98.1 million visits were recorded.

Binance remains the most popular and visited platform – in June, it was visited by 23.4 million people. The American exchange Coinbase is located in the second place in terms of traffic with a result of 19 million visitors. The top three is completed by the BitMEX cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, which was visited by 7 million people. Together, these three companies attracted just over half of the visitors to all cryptocurrency exchanges.

Korbit, BTSE and OKCoin sites attracted the least visitors in June. In addition, traffic on the BitMEX, Bittrex and Bitfinex platforms decreased by more than 20% last month compared to may. Note that according to the company CryptoCompare, trading volumes on cryptocurrency exchanges decreased significantly in June, both on the futures and futures markets.
