Modex has announced the launch of its BCDB platform, designed for rapid development of blockchain applications. The platform is already being tested by a large oil and gas company Dietsmann.
According to the press release, the development and deployment of blockchain projects on the BCDB platform takes “a few hours, compared to days and weeks when creating projects on other platforms.” Modex founder and CEO Mihai Ivascu noted:
“After the launch of Modex BCDB, we expect a new round of blockchain adoption in the corporate environment. We developed the platform with corporate needs in mind – BCDB was created to break the rejection of new technologies in companies.”
Dutch oil and gas company Dietsmann is one of the first to test the Modex platform. As noted by Peter Kutemann, President and founder of Dietsmann, blockchain will greatly help in business and open up new ways of interacting with customers and suppliers.
“Modex BCDB will allow Dietsmann to deploy a private blockchain in just a few days, while it will be efficient and require minimal effort to support from our team of technicians,” he stressed.
In early September, a subsidiary of Chinese state-owned oil and gas giant Sinochem Group announced the development of a blockchain platform together with Shell and Macquarie.
