Western interpretations of (usually) Middle Eastern dance. This refers to web sites that feature paintings and writings related to Oriental dance by Orientalists such as Flaubert, Gerome, etc. This category is NOT for web sites advertising modern-day teachers and vendors of belly dancing (unless their web sites ALSO feature information about the Orientalists) or providing advice to modern-day belly dancers.
