Michel Tremblay is probably the most-produced playwright in Canada and may be the most important playwright in the history of the country. Born in Quebec in 1942, his works include Les Belles-soeurs, Albertine, en cinq temps (Albertine, in Five Times), and Encore une fois, si vous le permettez (For The Pleasure of Seeing Her Again).
