Pakeha (pronounced paakehaa) means a person of primarily European descent, but is often used in modern NZ English to denote anyone without significant Maori descent. This section is meant primarily to contain content related to the post-Maori colonisation of NZ, and to the cultures of specific non-Maori ethnicities in NZ. Ethnicity-neutral NZ culture should be linked under Kiwi.
