Garcia, Andy

Andy Garcia (*1956 in Havana) is a Cuban-born actor, whose family emigrated to the States in 1961. He first performed on screen 1981 and has been active as an actor for a period of more than 20 years. His well known roles include George Stone in "The Untouchables" (1987), Charlie Vincent in "Black Rain" (1989), Vincent Mancini in "Godfather III" (1990), Michael Green in "When a Man Loves a Woman" (1994), and Federico Garcia Lorca in "The Disappearance of Garcia Lorca" (1997). Since 1990s he has also produced and directed films. In 1997 he composed music for the film "The Disappearance of Garcia Lorca".
