Arthritis is an inflammation (heat, swelling, and pain) of the lining of the joints. When the lining becomes inflamed, the body produces fluid in the area. This makes the joint swell, hurt, and feel warm.
This condition doesn't happen only to older people. Kids and teens can also develop types of arthritis.
