Firth, Peter

Peter Firth - British actor, born 27th October 1953, Bradford, Yorkshire. Former child actor who first gained acclaim for his stage performance in Peter Shaffer's well-received play "Equus". Peter reprised the role in Sidney Lumet's 1977 film version and earned a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination. Other film roles include 'Tess' (1979), and 'Letter to Brezhnev' (1985).
