Lasell College

Founded in 1851, Lasell College is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in the Boston area. It is a comprehensive coeducational college offering professionally oriented bachelor's and master's degree programs. Lasell offers nearly 40 academic programs. Students in all majors benefit from the Connected Learning philosophy that integrates professional courses with meaningful experiences and liberal arts studies. The faculty combine experience in education and industry with creative teaching methods and a concern for students. Dedicated professional educators teach all of their courses and teaching assistants are not utilized. Of the 1000-plus full-time undergraduate students, eighty percent live on campus in more than 15 residence halls that range from traditional to suite-style to Victorian homes. The students represent 15 states and several foreign countries, with just under 50 percent from Massachusetts.
