Art Institute of Charlotte

The Art Institute of Charlotte is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Art Institutes International, Inc., one of the nation's leaders in postsecondary career-oriented education for the creative arts. The Art Institute of Charlotte, formerly American Business and Fashion Institute, was established in 1973. It offers associate's degree and certificate programs in Interior Design, Fashion Marketing, Graphic Design, and Multimedia & Web Design. Shorter certificate programs are also offered in the evening. The school is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, and licensed by the North Carolina Department of Community Colleges and the University of North Carolina Board of Governors.
