Named after pirate brothers, John and Rodger Glover, in the 1750's, Glover's Reef Atoll consists of five islands (North East Cay, Lomont Cay, Long Cay, Middle Cay, and Southwest Cay). It is part of the Belize Barrier-Reef Reserve System UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it is a marine reserve.
