Salt Spring Island

Over ten thousand people call Salt Spring Island – the largest and most populated of the Gulf Islands - home. Salt Spring has strong agricultural roots and is known for it’s vibrant artist community – the island hosts well known painters, sculptors and musicians. There is a strong tourism industry here – many islanders open their homes for Bed Breakfasts or seasonal vacation rentals.
